Joseph Jaylo on taking actions for his dreams

Everybody has their dream, a dream that you
can realized by working smart and hard for it or rather,  a dream that will just be a dream without doing anything. When I was in college I became a working student, I worked on a certain agency as a product endorser to support my studies. It's hard because I need to manage my time but I have no choice I need to do it to support myself. At the middle of the semester, something went wrong, instead of using my allowance for my studies I have to give part of it to my mom to supply the needs in our home until I decided to stop going to school and work to provide for our families needs. I worked on a production company for a year. When I was in that company my brother told me to sell USANA products so that I can have extra income and that's what I did. While I'm doing it, I notice that it was good because one of my co-worker tried the product and he saw the goodness of the product. He's been more productive and kind of more energetic and I said to myself, "It's not really hard to sell the products because the product can speak for itself through the results". So when my contract was finished I started doing the Usana business and now I'm very happy that I'm a part of this growing team. My brother has just bought his new car, and I was really excited with the possibilities that could happen in my life. Now, I'm being mentored by leaders who are successful and I can say that it's great to be mentored by people with results. Professional people who choose to live their life as an entrepreneur and not as an employee and I'm learning a lot from them.

"Dreams are illustrations from the book your soul is writing about you". And it is the reason why I joined my team XTRM 1-11.

I believe that I deserve a better life like everyone has and I believe that every hardship in life is worth it when you reach the peak of success, with the push of the great people around me.

A dream that needs to be realized with massive action and help with my mentors. A very exciting journey ahead of me. - Joseph

Supplement Spotlight: Calcium for Better Bones

Getting enough calcium and vitamin D is essential to building strong, dense bones when you're young and to keeping them strong and healthy as you age.

Calcium is a mineral that is necessary for life. In addition to building bones and keeping them healthy, calcium helps our blood clot, nerves send messages and muscles contract . About 99 percent of the calcium in our bodies is in our bones and teeth. Each day, we lose calcium through our skin, nails, hair, sweat, urine and feces, but our bodies cannot produce new calcium. Women lost calcium through menstruation and pregnancy that's why it is really important too for women.

That’s why it’s important to try to get calcium from the food we eat. When we don’t get enough calcium for our body’s needs, it is taken from our bones. But are we getting the right amount of calcium from the food that we eat? And do we monitor it? For today's blog I'm giving a link to our corporate office blog for Calcium, "Calcium for better bones"written by Emily Alaniz. Let's protect our bones. :) Gob bless.

People Spotlight: Jeremiah Bolivar

One of my mentor ask me, why am I doing Usana? What got me into this? First of all the reason why I'm doing Usana is because of my mother. Before taking the product my mother was suffering from diabetes and it helped her and lowered her sugar cravings and another thing is because of the current situation that we have in my family. My father is a taxi driver and his daily income can't afford to send us to college and it's only enough to feed us for a day and sometimes we only eat twice a day. That time I realized and I said to myself that someday I will be successful, the situation that I'm experiencing today will not be my future . I have many dreams and one of my dream is to help and support our church in Cavite specially my Pastor . First I thank God for this opportunity and I thank also Usana because at my young age it was presented to me by my close friend and I thank him also for introducing me to this industry . Years ago I didn't expect that someday I'll be into business and building a team with great and passionate minds . That time I don't know how, when and where to start the business but thanks to my team we set goals and we didn't stop until we get it, we set our direction . Now it's almost a year since I started doing the business . There have been many rejections and disappointments but it didn't hindered me to achieve my dreams and it help me to improve myself . There are many improvements in my life and in my family's health specially my parents and now I'm happy that I am part of XTRM 111 and also our team here in Cavite. Opportunities are never lost; someone will take the one you miss and that opportunity that someone missed is now on my hands . I'm grateful that I'm on my way to success, learning from the best, seeking mentorship to those powerful great speakers that normally I wouldn't dare talk to. For those who are reading this article,  I dare you don't wait for opportunities you have to jump for opportunities and eventually you'll achieve your dreams. I'm very excited in my future ahead of me with this company. - Jeremiah
