Today on People Spotlight,
I'm featuring Paul Jaylo from Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines. He first stumble upon USANA when he was looking for a business, a business which can give him time freedom and financial freedom. At first his friend took him as a guest to see a business presentation and when the presentation started, he couldn't believe what this business has to offer. The company's  founder is Dr. Myron Wentz, a recipient of the prestigious award Albert Einstein award which up to date, only 2 recipients were able to received this award and is only given to a certain individual who had made a great contribution to their area of field which is for Dr Myron Wentz, the field of Life Sciences.

   

Paul was amazed at what USANA is all about, also being featured in the Comparative Guide for Nutritional Supplement, USANA scored 5 out of 5 for rating and was rated the highest nutritional supplement and has also won as the Editor's choice award for the said book publication. He was also amazed at how USANA grew and was listed  and publicly traded in NASDAQ and now is listed and publicly traded in NYSE (New York Stock Exchange Stock Market^®) due to it's stability and growth. After the presentation, Paul immediately asked, how much do I need to invest? He immediately learned that he have to invest 37,000 peso to start the business which is almost S900 in US currency.

He was frustrated, heart broken and he lost hope since at that time he was still a student and only receives an allowance worth 500 peso a week which came from their church through voluntary work. But Paul is very persistent, he looks for means and ways to start the business. There's a saying, "If there's a will, there's a away". If you really want it there's a way and if you don't, there is always an excuse and he thought to himself and asked the presenter, how about I buy some products from you little by little until I complete the investment. Since Paul is very persistent and they saw through him the willingness and desire to do the business, they agreed.

That's how he started the business, sharing and selling the products. Go to people and share the benefits of USANA through selling and here's whats great as per Paul, due to the beauty of the products, he was able to gather a lot of referrrals from his customer which helped him buy a motorcycle to further help him in doing the business. Take note that he was already able to buy his motorcycle yet he still isn't a business partner or distributor of USANA. He continued doing the business so that he can have the money investment for the business but unfortunately, upon doing the business, he had a motorcycle accident. He was 2 weeks on fever, he doesn't have money to do the cranial scan, all of his money is on the products and his only choice was to take the supplement to help him recover. He took the supplement every 4 hours and after 2 weeks, he was able to recover and from that experience he's belief on the products even grew deeper.

He did recover physically but he then asked himself, "Now how am I going to recover financially. I'm back to zero and back to square one." He continued with the story and give thanks to God and thanks to the Lord and quoted a sentence in a bible, "All things works together for good". He was able to meet their USANA sponsor which from that time he still don't know and was only introduced from a common friend Walter. He convince them to let them borrow the products and started all over again.
His hope and dreams were back again and in time he was able to complete the initial investment for the business. Paul saw the commitment of his sponsor that's why his commitment is also deep. 

That's how Paul started the business, now Paul has
 already sold  hundred of thousands worth of

products and is one of the rising star back in Philippines. He have shared the products to dentist, teachers, pastor's, doctor's, cancer patients and a lot more and everyone is thankful for him for sharing the products with them. He's happy with the business as he learned how to connect with people and developed good relationship with them, how he developed his leadership skills and how he inspires others through sharing USANA. His goal is to become a Gold Director at the end of this year. Here is a video of Paul inspiring his team in America.
